What is bee propolis?
Bee propolis is defined as a resinous mixture that honey bees produce by combining their own saliva and beeswax with exuded substances they collect from tree buds, sap flows and other botanical sources.
Bees use it to seal undesirable small cracks and gaps in the hive (larger gaps get filled with beeswax). It actually contains over 300 natural compounds, including amino acids, coumarins, phenolic aldehydes, polyphenols, sesquiterpene quinines and steroids.

Suggested Use (Taken before food)
3 to 6 years old - 1 drop per 10kg of body weight, in a small cup of water or juice or tablespoon of water at room temperature.
7 to 12 years old - 1 drop per 10kg of body weight, in a small cup of water or juice or tablespoon of water at room temperature.
• Once a day for cough.
• Twice a day for white/yellow/phlegm.
• Thrice a day for green phlegm.
Teenagers & Adults - 30 drops or 3 pumps in 500ml of water at room temperature. Sip throughout the day.
• Once a day for prevention/cough/when feeling heaty.

People who are pregnant or breastfeeding, suffering from asthma, allergic to honey, bee pollen, royal jelly, conifer or poplar trees are not advised to consume propolis.
Propolis may increase the risk of bleeding in people who take blood-thinning medications or who have bleeding disorders. Since propolis may slow blood clotting, you should stop taking propolis at least two weeks before any scheduled surgery.
