Traditionally used to treat respiratory conditions including asthma and bronchitis; intestinal disorders including dysentery and intestinal amoebiasis. Also suitable for those with cough, chronic nasal and bronchial catarrh, laryngitis, laryngeal spasm, emphysema, gastrointestinal tract dysbiosis, gastrointestinal tract infestation, pertussis. A low activity against Helicobacter pylori. Antibacterial. Anti-fungal.
Nutritional constituents: Vitamins C, calcium, copper and iron.
Actions: anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic (respiratory tract), antiparasitic, antimicrobial, anti-asthmatic. anti-diarrheal, anti-diabetic, antirheumatic. Bronchodilator, Expectorant (relaxing).
Suggested use: As a dietary supplement, take 1-3 drops (3-12 years old)/ 10-20 drops (teens/adults) in a small amount of water two (2) times daily in between meals. (1ml =20 drops)
Recommended dose per week: 1-4ml (children), 5 to 12ml (teens/adults)
Always begin with a lower dose when first introducing the herb.
